Anyone call for parallax mapping and shadows?

I’ve been working on a 2D game engine, i’ll probably rewrite this one.
Simple (I mean SIMPLE..all it has is image loading and left and right movement with no animation).

I’ve been busy with school, and attempting to get work, I got work, at KFC.

I have stopped working on the Portal clone, I lost the files (new pc) so I started making a racing game. Stopped that too.
Why do you stop your projects?
Mainly because I don’t get the time to continue them anymore or I just don’t know what the hell I was thinking when coding them. I tend not to write comments. At some stage I had something like:

ble.disp.FS = false;
ble.disp.tle = "Game window";

I think this is what it ment:
void wdwstings() {
ble.disp.FS = false;
ble.disp.tle = "Game window"; //Title setup?
}
BLE was the custom engine I was making.
Ok I’ve begun work on a portal type game. It’s mainly to get used to the engine. (irrlicht)
The models suck at the moment, whipped up very quickly, the collisions work, but the portal functions do not work.
Crappy graphics anyone?
I’ve begun work on a new Temp folder cleaner.
It cleans the temp folder of junk.

If I can be bothered compiling then I will release.
I made this in about half an hour.
This program is supposed to be for fast searching.
It sits in the system tray and when double clicked
it opens a search form and then opens it’s own
web browser.

So I started programming a few days ago and so far i’ve gotten pretty good at it. There is a new tech demo which will be part of the actual game i’m going to design but this one isn’t similar.
